It went like clockwork...

The day started bright and early. I awoke feeling great. For the first time in 5 days I didnt have a sore head, eyes, neck etc....and I had energy again. I actually felt like I could cope with the day ahead.

So at 7.45am we left home and caught the train to Copenhagen, here we would connect with the Inter City train that would take us to the other side of Denmark.
We relaxed on the train...read some magazines, chatted, ate some sweets and before we knew it we were at our destination. We just needed to find out what bus would take us to the airport. We found that no problem.
When we arrived at the airport we couldnt believe it - there were no people. Well not very many! (We are used to Copenhagen airport with lots of activity and people.) This was totally something else - we were in Jylland!!! and I loved it!!
(Photo above: See for yourself - can you find anyone???)
We played Monoply....
and Sara had a wee accident with the tomatoe ketchup. (see below) This was the second time she did this, so we just had to get a picture!

and we ate some more.....

and finally at 7.00pm our bus rolled into the bus station behind the Europa hotel and I was once again home.
Grandad came to get us and by now we were straving again so a trip to KFC was made. (Leah says : "haha Andrew - we had pop corn chicken!!!")
The day really did go like clock work and we actually really enjoyed the journey.

Welcome home Laura!

I think you may have brought your lurgy with you from Dane Land – Gary has man ‘flu, Leia has got loads of snots (TMI!) and I feel a bit ropey! Anyway, can’t wait to see you on Saturday night!

How come it snows when I’m in work – why doesn’t it snow when I’m off?

So you had healthy eating all day then Laura! NOT!!!!!

Notice you didn't mention Ryan Air and the hundreds of ads that you listened to on the flight:-)

Maybe Sara could start a new fashion - tomato squirt on your sleeve!!

Your dad hasn't changed a bit, hope you all have a great time. And it's ok to leave some things in Primark - honest!

A trumpet went ...Bummmmmm Bum bummmmm and they announce that another flight had arrived on time!! haha rather funny I thought. I think I will start calling you Sherlock Rhoda!! However did you know we didnt eat one bit healthy that day and probably wont the whole time we are in Ireland!! haha Leah asked us on the train the other day if they had fruit in ireland cause she never had any while here! hahaha ooops - I am such a bad mother!! Pauline dont worry they get fruit when at home!! only in ireland do we pig out everyday, at home it is only on a Friday!!haha
