It been a while since you heard from me!! but here I am back again with lots of things to share....but first the answer to the last question. Yes Lisa and Angie got it right - it was Good King Wenceslas !! Well done.....and now for todays question.... "When was the last official white Christmas in Britain?"
So we had a busy weekend but it was full of Christmas spirit! (and I dont mean the alcoholic kind!!haha) Its been really great. Check out the two videos below and you will see what we have been up to.....
Our neighbour and his kids came to see the Christmas play with us, then they came home and ate dinner with us. We had a lovely Saturday evening with them.
So its been a great Sunday too!

2004.
Loved the videos:-) You sure do have some talented people in your church:-)
Rhoda beat me to it. According to the met office it was in 2004 when "snow was widespread across NI, Scotland, parts of Wales, the Midlands, north east and far south west England."
And here's a piece of useless information for you - the definition of an official white Christmas used most widely is for a single snow flake (perhaps amongst a shower of rain and snow mixed) to be observed falling in the 24 hours of 25 December!!!
Loved the videos. Christmas is my church is so boring in comparison.
2004! Ok I didnt look it up I just copied Rhoda & Angie!! At least Im honest!!!
I will watch the videos tomorrow, its after 1am and everyones in bed and dont want to wake them, especially Tom!! He has ears like satellite dishes, hear a sound from miles away!!
Further on from Angie's comment. For the bookies it is generally one snow flake to fall in a 24 hour period on Christmas Day on the Weather Centre in London. That is classed as an official white Christmas.
Videos were fab Laura. Leah is very talented, a career beckoning maybe?
