One day down....

It's been a quiet day. Just what we all needed. There was time for a bit of a lie in, then it was up to sort out a few things around the house. Later in the afternoon we went over to see my brother. He had done a bit of washing for dad and it was all ready for collection!!

After a snack and a chat it was home again. This evening has been spent relaxing. Andrew was in the mood to see some of grandas films.
Ages ago dad bought himself a paint set. He never got around to using it but that all changed this evening. We spent a lovely cosy evening painting.

Dad really got into it, and was all pleased with the final result. I thought he did really well. Now he's tried it he wants to try it again. (yet another wee hobby to keep him amused!)

This was dads very first picture - I thought he did great. Andrew is having a blast - he is soooo easy going, so there is no problem with him, if the girls were here it would be different, they just want to shop all the time or else they get bored!hahaha

Brilliant Jim, you really are multi talented. It's lovely to see the two of you sharing such a great time and talent together. Enjoy the next few days.

Wow Jim that’s brilliant – I can’t believe that’s your first attempt! I can’t even draw a straight line! Laura – really hope to see you in July although there may be more of me to see as my baby bump will have grown huge by then!! xx
