All go again.....

So I´m back at work!! It´s good to be back again. Before starting though, I had a wonderful weekend of freedom.

Friday 29th July we were invited down to Kristian´s sister´s house for dinner and we said yes. We had a lovely evening with Hanne, Flemming, our neice Christine and her friend Sofia. The food was delicious, as it usually is whenever Hanne makes it.

Kristian got his car on Friday evening!! Sara and Christian were meant to be coming to visit us, but their plans changed. Our niece was in Aarhus and was visiting Sara so she was able to bring Kristian´s car back. He drove home in it from his sisters last Friday evening. He was a happy man!

On Saturday 30th July Kristian was up early to head into Copenhagen. He was one of the offical photographers for Copenhagen Historic Race. He was looking forward to a couple of days at the races. Meanwhile I had a Saturday to myself, Leah was also away all day working.

So I decided to have a cosy day out and about. I drove to one of the bigger shopping centers and had a blast going around looking at things. I needed to find some birthday presents for Andrew and Camilla and that I did.

On the way home I called into Ikea. Andrew was working and this was the first time I got to see him in action! He did a great job. He didn´t see me at first, I was spying on him and was impressed with how he talked and helped all the different costumers. My wee shy Andrew was no where to be found!

On Saturday evening Lasse came by for dinner and we had a cosy family evening just Krisitan, Leah, Lasse and me. We played Ludo and had a really fun time with that. I had bought the game while out shopping (it had been going cheap). It has been years since I played Ludo, it brought back memories of my childhood playing it with my Granny.

We really did have a lovely weekend.

On Monday it was back to work. At work on Monday afternoon I got a text message from Kristian asking me if I wanted to go on a date with him the next evening. I said yes!  He wouldn´t tell me where or what we would be doing.

Since we hadn´t talked all weekend, and Kristian was first home late Monday evening I was looking forward to our evening out.

We had a lovely date night. We headed north to one of the seaside towns. Ate dinner in a small fish restaurant by the harbour, went to see some art work, collected shells on the beach, and ended at our favourite place- Heather Hill. Good company, good food, beautiful surroundings and loads of time to talk - what more could a girl ask for! It was a perfect evening:-)

On Wednesday Leah and I decided that we would go to Ikea. Leah wants to redecorate her room and so we decided we would go in and get ideas. She also has a birthday next month so maybe some things could be a birthday presents. We had a blast!!! Us two in Ikea for a whole evening. Andrew was working and so, once again, I got to see him in action. We didn´t buy anything but had a fun night planning and dreaming.

We were still there when the place was closing at 9pm so I texted Andrew to see if he wanted to join us at McDonalds for a bite to eat, then we could drive him home. Kristian had been working down at his go-kart shop but was also heading home around 9pm so we texted him to join us. It was fun being just the 4 of us out together. Leah took my car and drove Andrew home and I went home with Kristian in his.

On Thursday I was sooo exhausted after work and the only thing I was looking forward to was an evening on the sofa with my feet up and that´s exactly how I spent my Thrusday evening. I got caught up on all my different interior decorating programs that I had recorded. A lovely evening.

On Friday (5th August) it was Andrew´s birthday. Camilla´s birthday had been on Tuesday so we had invited them to dinner on Friday evening. We decorated the house, got all the pressents ready for them and made a delicious meal. It was such a cosy evening. We finished the evening watching Forest Gump, a film I haven´t seen in years.

This weekend we have also just relaxed. We did spend a little time cleaning, a little time working in the garden and a little time out biking. Apart from that it has been relaxation with a few good book!
