Its all quiet again

.....the house is all quiet again. Jeff and Ivan have gone home. I think they really enjoyed their stay in Denmark. We really enjoyed having them. Kristian was glad he got time off work to go out with them.

Friday they headed out to Copenhagen.

They visited the Queens palace....

Then on to see the little mermaid!

On Saturday I was able to join in on the fun. We went to see another castle and ended the day by doing some shopping.
Sunday after church they headed home.
I have had a cold since Saturday. When I woke this morning I felt totally rotten, so I have been home in bed all day. It has helped soooo much! After sleeping the morning away I thought I would spend the afternoon lying in bed watching a film. So while out shopping the other Saturday Jeff recommended a film to me...."Closing the ring" and I bought it.
I saw it this afternoon. By the time I was finished watching it my head was hurting 10 times more than it had this morning when I woke, thats because I cried for like an hour during the film. Then I cried for another ½ an hour after the film was finished. To say I enjoyed it is an understatement!!! hahaha So thanks Jeff for telling me about it.
(Check out below the most beautiful song from the film)

Sorry I forgot to say hope your cold is better - its my most hated thing! I would rather have a stomach bug or whatever than have the cold!

That film was on TV the other night and I didnt realise and so didnt watch it. I was raging, I really want to see it. Have you seen the documentary, the real story? We watched that and it was so moving so the film must be amazing! Im going to check out ITV iplayer to see if its available there as it was ITV it was on. How did you see it, is it on DVD over there? Or did you download it? If so, where from?

Jeffrey was telling me about the film...we were out shopping in copenhagen and I happened to see a film called "Mickey Bo and me" and it was set in Belfast, it was going for £2.50 so I said I would buy it, jeffrey then told me about closing the ring that was also set in belfast. Well suddenly we walked passed a shelf and there was closing the ring going for £4. Jeff grabbed one and I did to. He had seen the film on ebay or amazon for 14 pounds so it was a bargin. I just loved it - but it effected me all day, I was in this funny romantic mood all day:-) hahaha
I havent seen the documentary but I would love to, must search for it. You could check out play or amazon to see if they have it.

Funny, Lisa, I was going to say the same thing. I can't imagine it's quiet in your house Laura, for very long!!!!

Haven't heard about that film or story.

What do you girls mean girls?? it cant be quiet when I am around - dont understand that!!! hahaha

Thanks for telling me the name of the documentary - I am going to see if its on youtube.

A funny story to end with - While the men were here, on sunday, we were watching this funny clip on youtube. It was this preacher man who was preaching on Lot and Abramham. Well he was meant to say "Lot pitched his tents..." but instead he said "Lot pinched his tits" then you should have seen his face when he realised what he had said!!! It was hilarious. The congregation could not stop laughing either - well off course I was killing myself laughing....but I had a bit of wind in my belly and so when I started to laugh, my stomach went in and I pushed the wind out of me!!!! hahaha and what a noise it made hahahaha I will never live it down. Kristian, Ivan and Jeff were in fits - they couldnt help but hear it, it almost blew them away!!!hahahaha

hahahahahahahahahahah Im nearly wetting myself!!!!!! It could only happen to you!!! Thats soooo funny, but poor you, you must have been so embarrassed!

Pauline the documentary is about a wedding ring that a man found a few years ago while walking on Cavehill. It turned out it belonged to a pilot who had crashed there during the war and it tells about it being returned to his family.

I tell you I have given up being embrassed - those men never let me live it down. All the way in to the airport the jokes in the car were about my fart - or something about a "windbreaker" hahaha so I thought I just had to come clean - might put a post on the blog - just get it all into the open!!! At least the men laughed at it all - so that helped, if they had gone all silent and tried to cover it up, then that would have been embrassing - but we just laughed at it all

It happened to me one day too. I was washing the dishes and Ronnie came up behind me and hugged me, squeezing me around the tummy, and the rest they say is history! But we did what you didnt, pretended like nothing happened! I think that made it much worse! At least you all laughed and got it out of the way!!

A perfect film then Laura!

Laughing at the windy stories:-) You are so right, it's better just to laugh and get on with it.

That castle looks beautiful, a real fairy story one:-)

Laura, the film is still available on ITV player so Ronnie's going to find the lead to connect my laptop to the TV and we might watch it tonight.

Oh I hope you enjoy it Lisa - now that I have recommended it!!!! But you liked the notebook and I love that one so I think you will like this. Hope you do - enjoy, I am trying to convince kristian to watch it with me, but at the minute he is still refusing:-(

He couldnt find the lead so as you already know we watched Benjamin button instead - weird!!

Just had another chuckle at your title 'its all quiet again'. Does that mean in Denmark the winds stopped blowing ha ha ha!!!
