So far, so good.....

....the holiday so far has been so good. The house is soooo organised and clean - it´s unbelievable!! (Only got the back balcony to go!!)

All weekend Kristian was in Sweden as an offical at a Historic Grand Prix race. He had a great weekend but had a bit of a shock when he came home and saw the pile of black bags and boxes sitting out side on our balcony, just ready to be taken to the dump!!

Now they are gone and I´m a happy lady!! haha (except for one bag that Kristian managed to see with all his old manuels, magazines and empty game boxes - now why on earth would you keep them!!)

On Monday Kristians cousin Jacob came by - (you might remember him from our wedding - he was the best man). We dont get to see him so often as he lives on the other side of Denmark. So it was sooo good to see him again - we had a cosy time with him.

Tuesday morning we were all up at the crack of dawn!! (literally) Sara was off to Belgium. She had to be in the airport by 7.30am! Krisitan and I drove her in and we had a bit of breakfast with her at the airport before she flew off to see her one and only Alessio!! (It sure brought back memories for me from the times I flew over to see Kristian!)

I got an sms from her this morning. She is doing well. Alessios family are really nice - his parents can only speak french but they are having fun using sign language to talk. Alessio is away today so Sara is spending the day with his cousin and mum. They are out for brunch and they have one very important object with them - a French to English dictionary!!

Later on in the day we went to visit our good friends Anne and Peter. What a blast we always have with them - and this time was no different. We ordered pizza´s. Anne had made a salad to go along with them and I had taken the dessert along.

Anne has been looking for a painting to put on her wall. She had asked me to go and check out some paintings with her sometime but when we arrived last night she had the most beautiful painting on her wall. I thought she had been to visit the gallery and had already got the painting that she wanted - but NO - she had painted it herself. I was totally amazed!!! I just fell for it as soon as I saw it.
The photo below does not do it justice....you cant see the details and the colours properly. Well done Anne!!

So after dinner the evening went with playing games. Anne had arranged a family game - us two families against each other and I had arranged a competition game too. It was fun.

Then we played Jeopardy!
Finally we ended off on the playstation - what a laugh!!!
A really great night was had by all!!! Thanks Anne and Peter!

Forgot to say, got a message from BT today, although all the internet stuff will be done on Monday, the actual internet wont be activated until midnight that night :-( But I will post the photos as soon as its up and running - I promise! You will have to ignore the kitchen though, I will post before, during and after pictures if you like. Im writing this on your blog instead of my own because I didnt want the person who lent me the dongle think I was complaining about it not working the best.

Sara is having a great time - got another sms today from her. She is out with his mum and dad today, cause he had to do something, so she is enjoying trying to understand their english (which is zero!!) so they smile alot at each other hahaha
She is going out shopping later with his cousin who she seems to really get on with, even though they cant communicate soooo much.

All the internet stuff came today and Ronnie has it all connected and sitting waiting, it will be a bigger event than the turning on of the Christmas lights in Belfast ha ha!!!

Ah Lisa now I understand the reason for Hilary Clinton's visit!

Yes Charlene - thats it exactly!!! Ronnie and Connor are literally counting the hours! How did we ever manage without the internet?

I know, how did we ever manage without the internet. I think we should start an Internet Anonymous group - then we can go to our IN group and get the help that we all so badly need!!! hahahaha

Talk about being stupid! As I said all the internet stuff came and Ronnie connected it up but what we didnt realise was that was it on!! Because they said Monday, we were sticking to that. We only caught it on by chance because I looked at the card with the BT home hub number and password on it and realised that it was coming up in the 'available networks' list! Duh!!! I selected it, put the password in and away it went!
