Oh noooo - dead hare!!! And it was all going so well!! I was smiling all through that, and was going to write a really nice comment and then bang!

That´s exactly how we felt - BANG!!!! the hare was in front of the car and we all saw it at the same time and all 5 of us screamed!! It was awful...but thankfully it died instantly, the boys all went to check and make sure it was dead. Yuk - it was awful, there was fur everywhere, blowing in the wind....but otherwise the evening was lovely.

Laura, when I saw this post earlier, half of it wasn't there. However, have got the full effect of the evening now.

Does Alessio know what he is letting himself in for with your family???!!! You are all mad!!!!

Pauline if he doesn't know it by now, he'll never know it!

So where was Leah when all this was going on?

How did you know it was a hare and not a rabbit?

Hares are much bigger!

Laura said...

It was a hare as it was huge and it´s ears were also really long...didn´t really examine the hind legs, they are usually longer on a hare than a rabbit, plus we have lots of hares in this area....Leah was first in Copenhagen at her puppet recording, after that she was meeting some friends for pizzas. Our town was open until 10pm last night, so she and her friends were going out shopping after they ate. Leah arrived home 10 minutes before we did. Well done Rhoda for spotting that!! haha

Yeah I Know hares are much bigger. I've never actually seen a hare in the wild - except in pictures or mini zoos. I've only ever seen real rabbits.

hare today.... goon tomorrow.... We see them round Groomsport sometimes - they're big boyos. Too bad - I killed a fox one night and cried the whole way home.
