Saturday at last

Its been a long, hard week! After Saras birthday party we were all exhausted. The first few days of the week were also really busy, plus we had the two boys visiting. So it has been all go.

All the kids started back at school this week.

Leah started back at the local school last Monday. She enjoyed seeing all her friends again and hearing about their summer. Next week she is off to camp with the school. They are travelling to another part of Denmark to visit the highest mountain in Denmark...."Heaven Mountain" which is 147 metres above sea level - more like a big hill!! They are staying in small cottages in a complex that has swimming pools, trampolines, sports hall etc. She is so looking forward to it and has had her bags packed from last Wednesday!

Andrew started his new school last Tuesday. He is together with 3 of his good friends so he was pretty relaxed about starting. He is in 10th grade and will only be at the school a year, then he has to decide what he wants to do after that. Its great that he has this extra year to think about what further education he wants to take.

Sara started her new school in Copenhagen. She is doing a business course in sales and marketing. She has a bit of a train journey in, but she doesnt mind. She has got into a special class for people who play sports. The school takes this into consideration and allows time for training and competitions etc.

There are 20 boys and 8 girls in her class, all of whom play sports at a more serious level. She is together with her good friend Jacob, who also races go-kart. She really thinks she is going to like this class. She is together with people who really take their sport seriously, so hopefully they will take their education more seriously too.

Now to embrass Sara a little :-) At her birthday party I held a speech for her. I shared with people how she was as a toddler and then to Sara surprise had a small video clip to back up what I said. When she was small she loved to dance and sing. Kristian and I always had to sit and watch and listen to her and it was not always an easy task,.....as you see below!!

Laura they are brilliant. Love the bit in the really long dress, how high is her voice??!!! Fabulous. Did it embarrass her at the party, or did she secretly really enjoy watching it??!!

Very good! Bet Sara just loved it . . . not!

that's brilliant that Sara has got into the sport's class, so now she can legally skip classes - sounds like a great idea!
