....On Saturday night Julie, Charlene and I were chatting and we talked about what we could do together when I was home. Well we came up with this idea.....remember the wee cinema place we went to some Saturday nights with the youth club, well we thought of hiring it for the evening and showing Mamma Mia. Idea is we all get dressed up 70 style and have a Mamma Mia sing-a-long night. The plan was we would go out on the Saturday evening.. but to cut a long story short, we can only do the Mamma Mia thing if it is on Thursday 23rd July or Monday 27th July..(only time the cinema is available)
So girls we need feed back. What night suits best??? Are you at all interested it doing this and Julie how much is it costings? How many can the cinema hold? So leave a comment with what you think girls - Julie needs to know ASAP!!!
As for me I am sick - lying in bed with a sore throat, head and runny nose - also got a bit of a fever...but better getting sick now than when I have to go to Ireland:-) Talk soon folks

I cant do Monday nights im afraid, but Thursdays are fine. Sounds like a great idea, I havent seen mamma mia yet but its coming on sky at the weekend so maybe I should watch it and get up to speed on all the songs (Im not an Abba fan Im afraid so I wont know all the words)!

Ive an ambulance exam that Monday night, if I dont do the exam I cant progress up a grade for at least another 6 months. Plus there is an examiner booked to take the exam. Its a written exam plus a set-up scenario with patients and equipment etc and I'll be assessed on how I deal with it, so I cant miss it. If you can only get the Monday night its ok, I can see you another day, maybe go shopping or something?
Probably complicates things... but there are two cinemas - you're probably thinking of the Tudor but Noel's twin brother Roy owns the Excelsior Cinema, just down the road.... it just seats about a dozen... so maybe if there are just a few of you, you don't need to be so restricted by dates? If you're interested in another date and the wee one would do, let me know - I work with Roy's daughter.

Thinking about myself - I can both but Monday is probably best as my dad usually goes to my sister-in-laws on a Thursday and we tag along, but I can always get dad to leave earlier so I make it home for the show. We still need to hear from Ruth and Lorraine....ok lets see what we can work out...and Julie the Saturday night is absolutely out - he cant rent it out there???
Lisa how long is the exam and what time does it start the Monday? Although thinking about it, it probably starts at 7 through 9 or something.....just wondering if we met at 8pm if the exam was finished by then???

Ok I think it is going to be the monday - sorry Lisa - maybe you could come after the exam??? I have talked to lots of people and 2 people cant come on the Thursday (and Thursday was more awkward also for me)only 1 cant come on the Monday.
So Julie should we book the Monday evening? Now to find the time what about 8pm then if Lisa can get her exam over early she could come along and join the fun.

Oh poo I can't do either night! We're away to Suny Scotland that week - but the week after suits me - Laura go and re-book yer flights woman! Oh by the way, our Rhoda just had another wee girl on Monday she's called Eva - so that's 3 weeans she's got and says never again ... til the next time ha ha!
I'll have to wait until nearer the time to see if I can make it. Probably not though. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun though, even if it is Mama Mia!!! ;-P
