As I drew, Shadow jumped up and lay on the table and watched me for a long time. It was really cosy.
Here is the finished picture.
The colours haven´t really come out so well in the photo. I tried to take it with and without flash, but it still isnt the right colour. The real thing looks much better.

That is brilliant!! You really have a talent there. Ronnie's really good with pastels as well, he can put a whole one in his mouth without chewing it!!
Laura, for a first attempt that is really quite impressive. No doubt Lorraine will be able to give you some pointers to improve, but I can't see where they would be. Then again I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
Well done, you should feel very proud of yourself.

I think pastels are more fun to work with than paints - and less cleaning up afterwards!!

Lorraine is a real artist Rhoda. She is absolutely brilliant at drawing and painting. Lorraine you should post some of your work. Honestly my painting look like somethings from a kinder-garden when you see Lorraines. So go on Lorraine post some!!! Inspire us all!!
I can't now after all that praise! I'll see if I can find some stuff - I haven't had time to do anything properly in years.
