- Laura
- My name is Laura and I come from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am married to Kristian who is Danish, so for the past 25 years I have lived in Denmark. We live in a small town north of Copenhagen. We have 3 kids, Sara (24 years), Andrew (22 years) and Leah(18 years). Kristian and I are both Christians. It´s so great to be in a relationship with God and know He is there helping us and loving us no matter what life may throw our way. Life has meaning and purpose. I started this blog mainly as a diary so I could look back and see what we had done as a family over the years. Then I realised it was a great way for my family and friends in Ireland to follow our life here in Denmark. It´s not the most exciting blog - it´s just life - our life :-)

Oh Laura you are so brave - or is it mad in the head???? Did they not have tears tripping them when they saw you, or maybe they just don't get surprised anymore!!!!!!

(off course in Danish the whole thing rhymes.)
So it was song about how they met, then the brothers and sister sang about the first time they met flemming and how he played TV games with them etc... Kristians mum and dad sang about meeting him the first time and how he made baps for breakfast, but they were a bit dry with too much sugar on them.
The last verse were we all sing says.
Now its a long time ago, a 1/4 of 100
and alot has happened in that time
two lovely kids so sweet and them you like to spoil
but discipline you never did forget.
And then came Hannes "oldies" (thats kristians mum and dad, they moved in beside Hanne) you became a big family
Your house became like a train station - was this on purpose (cause there is always someone in the family coming or going)
Now its a long time ago and how the time has passed
But lets give our silver wedding couple a long life.
(again it all rhymes in danish!)
Ahhh how talented you all are!!! And Leah has a lovely wee voice, a real star!
The book arrived today, thank you very much, looks like I will need a hankie or 10!!
