Out and about

Its been another great day! This morning we went to church and it was a real service of thanks giving and celebration. I just think its great to know that I am forgiven! I have a Saviour who understands me, is with me, and who loves me no matter what!!

After lunch we decided that we really needed to get out into the sunshine and have some fun. Have a look at what we did!

We ate an early dinner and then decided to head out again. Have a look at where we went.....

Like I said at the start - it´s been another great day!

You're a brave woman! Trying to talk, run and keep up with roller blades all at the same time!

Love the definition of a hill in Denmark! Just wondering if it was North, East or West of where you live?

I guess you're back at work - enjoy!

haha it was fun trying to run and keep up with them, but I was totally out of puff!!

Heather Hill is the hilliest place I know in Denmark!! and I mean its not that hilly, but when you are used to flat open fields all around you, then heather hill is like mountains!! haha A welcome escape!!

Yes back at work - YUK could do with another week or two off!!

Looks like a lovely (if exhausting) day. You ran a lot further than I ever could! When I was at the zoo yesterday I thought I would have to take the portable oxygen tank with me if I had to walk to the top! Luckily I didnt have to (walk to the top I mean).

Lisa, so how did you get to the top?

Looks all a bit too energetic for my liking. Then again, that's probably indicative of how I'm feeling today. Looks like you all had heaps of fun though. Do you sometimes feel like a family of three and not five, these days?

Yes absolutely Pauline....kristian and i talked about this the other day when we were out. Our big kids have their own life, they want to be with their friends, not old mum and dad. So we really enjoyed having Leah around although it too will soon pass and then it will only be kristian and me - but that will be fun too.

Pauline I didnt have to go to the top. We kept the ambulance at the bottom of the zoo, inside the entrance gates so people saw us when they came in & knew where we were. If anyone had of taken sick up the hill the staff would have radioed us & we wouldve driven up. We took it in turns to walk around a bit though but not too far. Ronnie brought the kids up & I walked around with them a good bit, it was Toms first visit to the zoo so it was great seeing his face when he saw the animals, he loved the elephants the most.
